- MGM makes deal, owns many hit reality series

In a deal that sees MGM acquiring 55% controlling interest in Mar Burnett's One Three Media and LightWorkers media. The new venture will be retitled United Artists Media Group, with Burnett serving as CEO. This will give MGM control of the hot properties of SURVIVOR, THE VOICE and THE BIBLE.
Hulu orders series on Stephen King novel:
Stephen King's novel '11/22/63' has a direct to series order from Hulu. The series will look at a teacher who travels back to prevent the JFK assassination. This will be a nine hour event series, with JJ Abrams executive producing with Warner Brothers TV as the studio.
AMC takes over HUMANS:
Originally set for Xbox, AMC has made a deal to air and co-produce the sci-fi series HUMANS. Filming will be gin soon on the series about highly developed robots that look exactly like people.
Resurrecting the dead on TWO AND A HALF MEN?:
Charlie Sheen is pursing a return to TWO HAND A HALF MEN as the long running series starts its final season. Sheen and the "powers that be" of the sitcom, have been in conversation to have Sheen in some-sort of final send off.
TRUE DETECTIVE confirmation:
It is official. Colin Farrell will star in season two of HBO's anthology series TRUE DETECTIVE.
