The upcoming lifetime original holiday movie, GRUMPY CAT'S WORST CHRISTMAS EVER, has found its voice. PARK & REC's Aubrey Plaza will be the voice of the loveable kitty.

The new voice of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE is an alum of the SNL cast. Darrell Hammond, the longest running cast member ever, with 14 seasons under his belt, will be the new announcer for SNL. Hammond is taking over the role from the late, great, Don Pardo.
Discovery takes control of The Hub:
Hasbro and Discovery are ending their partnership on the kids network, The Hub. In the agreement, Discovery will take controlling interest of the channel and re-purpose it a a family network, programming for both kids and parents. Hasbro will retain a large stake in the venture and control six hour of daytime programming. The new channel will be named Discovery Family
More comic book bases TV series:
FOX is ordering a pilot on the DC Comic property LUCIFER. The commitment is for a put pilot, meaning we will at least see the one episode. The number of TV production centered around comic book properties is growing fast. This season we have six series within the five broadcast networks, plus Netflix has four Marvel shows coming, and TNT is developin the DC comics TEEN TITANS into a series.
TNT scores five upcoming Marvel Movies:
In its effort to unseat FX as the cable network of blockbuster theatrical movies, TNT has scored the rights to five upcoming Marvel Movies, including the 3rd CAPTAIN AMERICA MOVIE, and the 2nd AVENGERS movie. TNT will get each movie about two years after their initial theatrical release.
FX to end 10/90 model:
After quite a few disappinting series,(Cough! ANGER MANAGEMENT), FX will begin pulling away from thew 10/90 model of picking up programming. The model would give FX 10 episodes of a new series and, if they wanted to pick the series up, they would commit to a back 90 episodes. ANGER MANAGEMENT began strong, but quickly into the back 90, began to lose viewers, fast.
MST3K now online:
About 80 of the produced episodes of MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000 are hitting Vimeo, for rent or purchase. You can rent titles for just $2.99 each, purchase individual episodes for $9.99 each, or purchase all 80 episodes, at once, for $300. Episodes will be roll out over the next year.
Roku hits 10,000,000:
The small streaming Roku device, which has over 750 channels, has sold over 10 million players since its 2007 launch.
Chromecast adds Major video partners:
The $35 streaming dongle has just added multiple Disney networks, the gaming video rpovider Twitch and international TV programming streamer, DramaFeaver, to its growing list of castable channels/apps. Included in the new partnerships are all the iHeart Radio channels, giving users 1,500 radio stations to cast to their TVs.
