Ratings Review: WORKING THE ENGLES (Season One)
Comedy just don't seem to be something NBC can program any more. WORKING THE ENGELS, a summer sitcom, is yet another stab in the dark by NBC, to find some sort of traction in the comedy genre.
The ratings were bad, even by NBC standards. By episode four, it was drawing less than two million viewers, on par with ratings collected by comedies on ABC Family. Only five of the 12 episodes produced mad it to the air. So, you know it is bad if NBC pulls the plug early on a series.
For the five episodes, WORKING THE ENGELS averaged 2.13 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in Adults 18-49. If you were one of the few people that liked the comedy, you should be able to catch the series on Netflix, in the not to distant future.
