Ratings Review: TRUE BLOOD (Season Seven)

The long running vampire drama TRUE BLOOD ended its run this summer. HBO will have another tough task finding a replacement series to bring in the viewers this series was able to produce.

The ratings had started to slide last year, dropping from over five million viewers per episode, in season five, to four million in season six to the three million range in this last season. Althou, many of those previous fans could now be time-shifted, with on-demand, streaming and mobile applications now mainstream.

for the season, TRUE BLOOD averaged 3.48 million viewers and a solid 1.8 rating in Adults 18-49. If you were not able to watch the series and are not an HBO subscriber, Amazon Prime has the first three seasons available, with seasons being added down the line.
