Ratings Review: RUNNING WILD WITH BEAR GRYLLS (Season One)
Another summer, another NBC series with Bear Grylls. This time, he brings a celebrity with him has they survive the wild, for each of the six weeks. I guess that means they stayed at Motel 6?RUNNING WILD WITH BEAR GRYLLS did moderately OK to fill an hour of programming for NBC. What started out as promising, ended up being no better than drama repeats. This type of programming is not really what broadcast networks do best. This is more for Discover or History to take on.
For the six episodes, RUNNING WILD averaged 4.05 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49. Although there is no official word, I would not be surprised to sea NBC bring back Bear in either this series or a new one, in 2015.
