Primetime Cable Ratings: August 29, 2014
The long THE SIMPSONS marathon began winding down on Friday night, but it s was what most cable viewers were watching on the first night of the Labor Day weekend. Five episodes populated the top 10 chart, averaging near 1.5 million viewers over the three hours of primetime, for FXX. It is the most episodes to make the daily list, since the marathon began on August 21st.
SMACKDOWN was able to top the chart, grabbing 2.7 million viewers, over a million more than the #2 show of the night, AMERICAN PICKERS. SMACKDOWN was up nearly 300k in total viewers and 33% in the demo, over last week's numbers.
