Preliminary Ratings: Wednesday 09/10/14
The preliminary ratings are a bit hectic with the Presidential Speech airing at 9:00 p.m. ET, 6:00 p.m. PT. It could affect the final reported numbers, when they are released this evening.
It looks as if AMERICA'S GOT TALENT will be the most watched program of the night, getting 10.5 million viewers to tune in to the second to last Wednesday edition of the season. The A18-49 ratings seem to remain flat, from previous few weeks, despite an impending champion being crowned. TAXI BROOKLYN pulled in what it regularly gets this summer.
BIG BROTHER was tops in the A18-49 numbers, commanding a 2.4 rating. Unlike AGT, BIG BROTHER is building momentum to its season finale and winner of the 16th edition. EXTANT appears to have pulled its lowest numbers of the season, losing to TAXI BROOKLYN.
HELL'S KITCHEN is now a fall series and it's premiere did decent numbers, finishing second to BIG BROTHER, at 8 p.m., and AMERICA'S GOT TALENT, after the Presidential speech. The series could be play a big part at stabilizing FOX on what could be a train wreck of a season (cough, cough, UTOPIA!)
PENN & TELL: FOOL US did drop more than 10% in viewers, from last week, but it is still a great number, for The CW. Viewers appear to be finding and liking the series, that was originally a British production, in 2011. Let's hop the CW can find a way to bring back the duo, in some form, in 2015.
