Live+3 Day Released for Monday 09/22/14
The first wave of Live+3 day ratings have been released by the networks and we get out first look at what each series did and compare it to the new L+3 projects the networks are releasing with their Live+Same Day ratings spin.
Only A18-49 data was released for ABC, but both Monday night programs exceeded their projections. FOREVER has jumped 0.7 of a ratings point in three days, decent for a new series.
FOX's numbers look a lot better with the additional viewership ratings. GOTHAM jumped 2.8 points, or 88%, in three days viewing. If the total viewer numbers did a similar jump, it goes from 8.2 million viewers to 15.4 million. That could be enough to top THE VOICE in the first hour.
SLEEPY HOLLOW added 50% to its same day totals. If total viewership follow, 7.3 million viewers tuned into the season premiere.
NBC's three day ratings were mixed. THE VOICE exceeded their projections by 0.4 points, But, THE BLACK LIST fell short by 0.3 points. THE VOICE's numbers will trail off as the season progresses, but it could be a little troubling for NBC if THE BLACKLIST already falling short of what they expected.
FOR CBS, we don't know what they expected after three days as they only project out for seven days. But, the network must be ecstatic by the numbers for SCORPION. Nearly 18 million viewers and very close to the A18-49 numbers the BLACKLIST and GOTHAM generated. The 4.6 demo rating represents and increase of 44%, from the Live+SD numbers. Personally, I wrote this series off as a very early cancellation. It is looking like I couldn't be more wrong.
