Final Broadcast Ratings: September 5, 2014

The Big 4 networks all aired the STAND UP TO CANCER special, featuring the biggest stars of entertainment talking and performing on the behalf of cancer research. ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX were commercial free during the 8 p.m. hour, so that hour will not be added to the weekly averages.

The CW benefited at 8 p.m., with less competition. MASTERS OF ILLUSION bested FOX and pulled in 1.6 million viewers and a 0.4 demo rating. An encore of WHOSE LINE? maintained that demo rating, for the bottom of the hour and put the CW on the level of the Big 4.

ABC's 20/20 was the night's top program, in the A18-49 demographic, grabbing a 1.1 rating. The night's most watched show was an encore of BLUE BLOODS, over on CBS.
