Final Broadcast Ratings: September 26, 2014

It took until the fifth day, but ABC finally has a share of winning a night of the new season, thanks to two hours of SHARK TANK. The reality series commanded a 1.9 rating in Adults 18-49 and collected 7.5 million viewers.  That is first and third, respectively, in each category. year-to-year, SHARK TANK was up a tenth of a point in the A18-49 ratings and up 500,000 viewers. 20/20 continued the strong Friday night numbers bu maintaining 88% of the SHARK TANK lead in.

THE AMAZING RACE, on a new night, did little to reinvigorate the night. Just 5.5 million viewers tuned into the Emmy Award winning series, and the 1.1 demo rating was the second lowest of the night, from an original program, by the Big 4 networks. Only UTOPIA did worse. This could be the last season we have of TAR, so fans, enjoy it while you can.

MASTERS OF ILLUSION felt the effect of the new fall season and all the new programming. The series lost about one third of it's viewership, from the previous week. Still, it is doing better than what the CW offered last fall.
