Netflix orders French series:
The streaming service is expanding its original programing to the french series MARSEILLE. The program is a political thriller that will have its entire production don in France. the series is set to debut in early 2015.
LIN Broadcast/CBS come to terms:
A few weeks after one of the oldest CBS affiliates (Indianapolis) was dumped for Tribune station over affiliate fees, LIN Broadcasting reups with CBS on its remaining CBS affiliates. This was a hard lesson to learn from LIN.
Amazon set to revive cult classic:
Amazon studios is looking to revive the FOX series THE TICK, with Patrick Warburton. It has been 12 years since the series was cancelled by FOX, after just nine episodes.
Wil Wheaton cancelled:
SyFy has cancelled the talk show WIL WHEATON PROJECT after just one seasons.
