AMC renews freshman drama:
Despite low ratings, AMC has renewed the first year drama HALT & CATCH FIRE. The series regularly draws under 800,000 viewers per episodes, but does boast a total of 1.3 million viewers for Live+7 viewership.
Showtime renews two series:
second year series MASTERS OF SEX and RAY DONAVON have both been picked up for a third season, by Showtime. Each show will get 12 more episodes for 2015.
Bear Grylls gets a new show:
Discovery has given a green light to six episode of the new series BEAR GRYLLS: BREAKING POINT. The new series is slated to debut in early 2015.
NBC cancels summer comedy:
Not a surprise at all, but the very low rated WORKING THE ENGLES has been axed by NBC.
