Primetime Cable Ratings: August 14, 2014
Preseason NFL football was the most watched cable program on Thursday night, grabbing 3.8 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49. With this being just the second week of the exhibition style games, most stars/starters are still playing very little of the games, and limiting fan interest in the games.
SHARK WEEK is winding down as just one of the three hours of programming, from Discovery, made the top 10. SHARKAGEDDON, at 10 p.m., collected just 2.5 million viewers. But the special was just one tenth of a ratings point behind football, for the top spot in the A18-49 ratings.
