Preliminary Ratings: Thursday 08/07/14

The Thursday night broadcast ratings are in major flux as local NFL pre-season football coverage preempted programming for each of the BIG 4 networks. CBS had four of the top 10 markets covering football, instead of regular programming.

The numbers below are sure to have significant changes when the final ratings are released later today. There is no way that CBS averaged a 2.0 demo rating with all those encores.

NBC's numbers look the most like a typical Thursday, but with local football in the mix, expect horrible numbers come finals.

ABC - 4.4 million viewers, 0.9 rating in A18-49

CBS - 7.1 million viewers, 2.0 rating in A18-49

CW - 0.7 million viewers, 0.3 rating in A18-49

FOX - 2.9 million viewers, 0.9 rating in A18-49

NBC - 3.8 million viewers, 1.0 rating in A18-49
