Final Broadcast Ratings: August 21, 2014

ROOKIE BLUE ended its fifth season on Thursday night, drawing 5.3 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in Adults 18-49. That was it's best A18-49 rating since August 1st, and the most viewers since July 18th. The summer crime series has not had relatively bad numbers, but it is not showing growth. I would have to believe that a 6th season may not happen.

BIG BROTHER continues to roll, topping last Thursday night's numbers. The CBS reality series has surpassed AMERICA'S GOT TALENT as the #1 summers show, in Adults 18-49.

Two new episodes of the recently renewed summer comedy, WELCOME TO SWEDEN, did relatively well for CBS. Considering repeats both lead into and lead out of the episodes, the numbers are half way decent, for NBC.

ABC - 4.2 million viewers, 0.8 rating in A18-49

CBS - 5.4 million viewers, 1.5 rating in A18-49

CW - 0.5 million viewers, 0.2 rating in A18-49

FOX - 2.6 million viewers, 0.7 rating in A18-49

NBC - 2.7 million viewers, 0.7 rating in A18-49
