Ratings Review: FARGO (Season One)
Although the ratings for the series were not at the levels of a BREAKING BAD or GAME OF THRONES, it was still a strong performer in the ratings. It especially did well after the broadcast networks ended their season, in May. The ratings began to climb back to early season levels.
For the 10 episodes, FARGO averaged 1.89 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in Adults 18-49. The series ended up with a total of 18 Emmy Nominations, including Best movie/mini-series, two Best Actor (Billy Bob Thorton & Martin Freeman) and Supporting Actor (Colin Hanks). I think we can expect another similar series in the not to distant future, giving another classic movie an expanded canvas on which to paint on.
