Ratings Review: CONTINUUM (Season Three)

One of the better science fiction TV series on the air today just finished it's third season, on SyFy. CONTINUUM had a strong, creatively, season, even if the ratings does not reflect it.

The season's ratings were really consistent, staying in the 700k to 800k viewer range for most of the 13 episodes. The ratings began to rise towards the end of the season, as a series should, and closed out with the season's best numbers.

CONTINUUM moved slight away from science fiction to closely mirror science fact. The interesting part is the story line that revolved around a new consumer wearable product that would help improve your health when needed. Eerily close to what we are beginning to see today from Android, Apple and Nike at the beginning of a new era in computing.

For the 13 episodes, CONTINUUM averaged  840,000 viewers and a 0.3 rating in Adults 18-49. No word yet on if a 4th season will happen, but the rumor is news on the series' fate will be released in early August.
