Ratings Review: ARCHER (Season Five)

The animated FX series ARCHER has more of a cult following of devoted, loyal fans. it's ratings are pretty consistent, year-to-year, with a small ratings peak of valley, mixed in. Season five appears to be no different.

This season, the show stepped away from it's spy/espionage setting for a "Archer: Vice" storyline. The ratings showed fans were not exactly thrilled about it. The season premiere was the highest rated episode of the season, with the numbers falling as the season progresses. The finale was the lowest rated episode of the season and the second lowest of all time. This season also had the most episodes with under one million viewers (6), since season one.

 For the season, ARCHER averaged just 1.04 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in Adults 18-49. The series will be back for a 6th season, and return to it's original spy format. Hopefully, the numbers will also rebound back to their previous levels.
