Primetime Cable Ratings: July 20, 2014
Week two of the new FX series THE STRAIN stayed in the cable to 10, but lost 17% in the A18-49 ratings and 29% in viewership, from last week's series premiere. Not horrible retention numbers, but nothing to build the confidence of FX in the new series. Perhaps the L+3 numbers will reflect better retention.
THE LAST SHIP continues to be the show to beat on Sunday nights, as it ws the only cable program with over four million viewers. But, HBO's TRUE BLOOD did have the best number in the demo ratings, grabbing a 1.9 mark.
