CW Weekly Ratings: July 14 - 18, 2014

It was a pretty horrible week for the CW. four programs drew just a 0.1 rating in Adults 18-49. Three of the programs are the stronger series by the network, including ARROW, on Tuesday night. Only three hours of programming managed to get above a 0.2 demo rating, two of which included WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY?

The two new series, SEED and BACKPACKERS, are basically DOA. with good lead in programming, the viewers fled the network when the two shows premiered. BACKPACKERS lost nearly two-thirds of the audience that watched a new episode of WHOSE LINE. Some came back at 9 p.m., for the WHOSE LINE encore, but vanished, again, at the bottom of that hour.

For the week, the CW averaged 660,000 viewers and a 0.2 rating in Adults 18-49. There is nowhere to go, but up, after this week in the ratings. But, I say that and the bet the CW will prove me wrong.
