TV News Roundup: June 17, 2014

More Kids programming for Netflix:
Netflix is teaming up with Mattel for the new animated series EVER AFTER HIGH. The franchise is based on the children of famous fairytale characters. A moive will kick off the series, first, followed by the first 12 episodes.



MyNetworkTV 2014-15 Fall Schedule:
MyNetworkTV has released it's fall schedule, and in case you forgot, THE WALKING DEAD is part of that schedule. MYNetworkTV schedule two hours a night (double episodes of one series), Monday through Friday. Gone from the 2013-14 schedule are HOUSE and MONK
  • MONDAYS - Law & Order: SVU
  • TUESDAYS - LAW & Order: Criminal Intent (new night)
  • WEDNESDAYS - The Walking Dead
  • THURSDAYS - The Mentalist
  • FRIDAYS - Bones (new night)


PAWNOGRAPHY Premiere Date Set:
The spin-off game show from the hit reality series PAWN STARS, will have it's series premiere on Thursday, July 10th.



TMNT Gets a 4th Season:
TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES is getting a fourth season from Nickelodeon, with Seth Green taking over the voice of Leonardo.



Backup Plan for Aereo:
Aereo CEO Chet Kanojia has a plan if the Supreme Court's decision goes against Aereo, and that is to pay the broadcasters for the right to feed their free signals to consumers. Of course, if the broadcaster loose, the threat is they will go straight to pay-TV and use the broadcast signals for less valuable programming.
