Ratings Review: VEEP (Season Three)

Some claim there is a SEINFELD curse on the cast of the classic comedy series, but Julia Louise-Dreyfis seems to have found away to ward of that curse. VEEP is now her second series that has gone more than three seasons each.

Don't get me wrong, VEEP is far from a ratings success, but when you are HBO, ratings are not that big of a concern. Yes, the more people watch, you know they will bee getting new and keeping exisiting subscribers. But, if other numbers, the ones we don't see, are inline with what HBO looks for, these numbers below are mostly meaningless. It still seems hard to justify a keeping a series alive when so few people actually watch it.

For the season, VEEP averaged 940,000 viewers and a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49, for the 10 episodes. VEEP will return for a fourth season on HBO.
