Ratings Review: BLUE BLOODS (Season Four )
BLUE BLOODS is the most watched program on Friday nights, from any network, drawing a rare 11 + million viewers for all new episodes. It may skew old, but the numbers are very solid and consistent.
It is the only weekend series to get more than 10 million viewers, on a regular basis, outside of NFL Football. Of it's 22 original episodes, 17 had more than 11 million viewers. The A18-49 ratings are not bad either, for a Friday night. A mid-one is usually strong enough to compete for, if not win, the top spot in the 10 p.m. hour.
Even the LIVE+7 ratings are strong s the series adds another 4-5 million viewers and 50% in the demographic ratings. This is a show that is perfect to get good ratings, on a night that struggles to attract viewers.
For the season, BLUE BLOODS averaged 10.87 million viewers and a 1.3 rating in Adults 18-49, for the 27 airings, including five encore episodes. There is no reason BLUE BLOODS cant live a long life on Friday nights. Not many series can draw 10 million viewers week in and week out.
