Primetime Ratings: June 22, 2014

HBO's TRUE BLOOD got all the hype and press for it's season premiere, on Sunday night, but it was a double shot by TNT that ruled the ratings.

The series premiere of THE LAST SHIP was the night's most watched program, drawing 5.3 million viewers and a solid 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49. The episode is currently 2014's most watched new series premiere.

Following THE LAST SHIP on TNT is the season premiere of FALLING SKIES. The sci-fi action drama collected 3.7 million viewers. That was good enough for the #3 spot on the chart and help power TNT to the best cable network ratings on the night.

Tracking back to TRUE BLOOD, the HBO vampire series grabbed four million viewers and a very impressive 2.2 rating in Adults 18-49. Although it was just #2 in total viewers, it dominated the demographic ratings.
