Primetime Cable Ratings: June 9, 2014
MAJOR CRIMES was the most watched program of the night, grabbing 5.2 million viewers for the season premiere. This is on par with last year's premiere, which brought in 5.1 million viewers. An hour earlier, an encore of MAJOR CRIMES took the #10 spot, with 2.7 million viewers.
The new TNT drama, MURDER IN THE FIRST, followed MAJOR CRIMES, and held on to 73% of the lead in audience. It to pulled in similar numbers from one year earlier, when KING AND MAXWELL followed the MAJOR CRIMES season premiere.
In the number six position, and the third scripted series, so far, LONGMIRE fared well in week two of the third season, retaining 93% of last week's season premiere.
