Primetime Cable Ratings: June 24, 2014
RIZZOLI & ISLES dominated the Tuesday cable ratings, grabbing 5.5 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down 300,000 viewers, from last week's premiere, but the demo rating stayed constant. DEADLIEST CATCH was a distant second place, in viewership, but was the top show in the A18-49 ratings, with a 1.2 mark. The long running reality series was the only show of the genre making the top 10, something that does not happen on a regular bases, for cable TV.
FX debuted the much hyped new drama TYRANT and it came in 10th place, hauling in 2.1 million viewers. not a bad showing for the series, but there have been many a good premiere, followed by quickly declining ratings (ANGER MANAGEMENT)
