Preliminary Ratings: Tuesday 06/03/14
You ever have one of those moments when you completely screwed up, but didn't notice it until it was too late? Well, that is what I did this morning. This is the second posting of Tuesday's preliminary numbers, because accidentally posted last week's ratings. Ooopps!
NBC once again won the night in both viewership and demographic ratings. Both series saw single digit erosion from last week's premieres and still won their respective time slots.
The CW gave us a new reality series, but the results are not good. Just 700k chose to watch FAMOUS IN 12, at 8 p.m., the same number that stayed to watch a repeat of SUPERNATURAL. The CW usually has patients with any series, but if the numbers fall fast, I can easily see the network pulling it from the schedule.
FOX Tuesday nights are only getting worse with RIOT and I WANT TO MARRY HARRY staying on the air. Between the two new shows, they averaged just 1.1 million viewers and a 0.4 demo ratings. Barely above the numbers for the CW. Please FOX, give us BONES and SLEEPY HOLLOW reruns instead!
CELEBRITY WIFE SWAP saw the ratings push up 17% in the demo ratings, over last week, reaching to a 1.4 rating and competing with NBC for a time slot win. The increase at 10 p.m. compensated for the loss between 8 - 10 p.m., as EXTREME WEIGHT LOSS dropped 15% in the demo.
