Final Broadcast Ratings: June 12, 2014
Game four of The NBA Finals dominated Thursday night's ratings, drawing similar numbers as games one and two, and slightly better than game three. It looks like ABC may be in for a disappointing NBA Finals as the championship could be closed out in game five and, if San Antonio gets out to another quick lead, viewers could be tuning out the majority of the game.
FOX and NBC aired nothing but original programming, but CBS was the network that got the most of it's line up. Airing nothing but repeats, CBS scored more viewers than NBC and FOX, and competed with the two networks for second place in the A18-49 ratings. it also had the best rated program of the night, outside of ABC's NBA coverage, with THE BIG BANG THEORY pulling in better numbers with summer repeats than most sitcoms can in generate with original episodes, during the regular season.
FOX's GANG RELATED is now on the clock for cancellation as the network axed the horrible Tuesday night summer line up yesterday. GANG RELATED is pulling in better numbers, but it was the lowest rated original show on the night and lost tot he CBS 9:00 p.m. repeats, head-to-head.
The CW had one it's worst nights in quite a while as both vampire dramas managed just a 0.1 rating in the A18-49 demographic. That is roughly 126,000 viewers in the targeted demographic.
