CW Weekly Ratings: June 16 - 20, 2014
Despite the loss of original episodes from THE 100, the CW had a better week this week, than last week. The rise in the numbers is a direct result of great showing by the four episodes of WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY?, on Mondays and Fridays.
WHOSE LINE averaged 1.7 million viewers and a 0.6 demo rating, on Monday night, which includes the one original episode of the series. On Friday night, the show also averaged 1.7 million viewers and a 0.6 demo rating, with the 8:30 episode getting the best numbers of the week, for the CW. The Monday original episode was only the 3rd most watched of the series.
The CW presented the CRITICS' CHOICE TV AWARDS on Thursday night to so-so ratings. Just over one million viewers tuned into the awards show, but the Nielsen Twitter Ratings registered over 1.7 million unique users getting tweets on the program. It is good for the CW have show like this, during the summer, but need a way to promote it better, outside the network.
FAMOUS IN 12 pulled in horrible ratings and was the worst rated CW program of the week. less than a half million viewers watched the third episode of the series. that is less than a repeat of Friday's HART OF DIXIE.
For the week, the CW averaged 1.11 million viewers and a 0.4 rating in Adults 18-49. As long as WHOSE LINE is on the schedule, the network should have relatively good numbers, but shows like FAMOUS IN 12 hold back any gains they get from other series.
