US Box Office Results: May 23 - 26, 2014

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST generated an estimated $111 million in ticket sales, over the four day holiday weekend. It is now the fifth best Memorial day total, ever, butndoe fall a little short of the franchise record, held by LAST STAND. This was our movie of choice for the weekend and it is a really good movie.  Nit only are the special effects superb,  but the story was fun and exciting.

Also new out this weekend was the new Adam Sandler movie BLENDED. With just over an $18 million take, it is one of the lowest performing openings by a Sandler movie.
