The Ax Falls at FOX
It has been a busy morning at FOX, as they prepare their presentation of the 2014-15 schedule. There was more bad news than good news, so let's start of on a positive foot.
Having it's worst season ever, FOX is sticking with AMERICAN IDOL one more season, it's 14th. No details if the show would be trimmed down to one night or if there would be a shake up at the judges table. But, auditions do start next month, June 18th.
Now, for the bad news.
Four series received their walking papers today, after performing less than spectacular ratings this past season. Sitcoms DADS, SURVIVING JACK and ENLISTED are done. Dramedy RAKE is also gone, to no surprise of anyone. Of the four shows, only DADS could make a case for renewal, as it regularly out performed returning comedy THE MINDY PROJECT. But, quality wise, DADS was very bad.
