Ratings Review: CASTLE (Season Six)

CASTLE has developed into quite a CBS crime drama... Oh, wait. This is an ABC series. The ratings look more like CSI than GREY'S ANATOMY. But, ABC is apparently happy with that. And they should be. It is tough to get 10+ million viewers to tune into a show, now a days.

CASTLE is also one of the stronger programs when it comes to LIVE+7 ratings. Growth in viewership and the demographic ratings is between 40% - 50%. As long as the stars, and viewers, want to keep the series going, CASTLE could be one of those 10 year series.

For the season, CASTLE averaged 9.33 million viewers and a 1.8 rating in Adults 18-49, for the 28 airings, including six repeat episodes. The series should continue its rating trend next year as both DWTS and CASTLE stay put on ABC. And, once THE BLACKLIST leaves the night in mid-November, we will see if the series can regain it's #1 ranking in the time slot.
