Primetime Cable Ratings: May 9, 2014
The second night of the NFL draft did drop a bit from Thursday night's first round coverage. ESPN and ESPN2 split the coverage to work around the NBA games, but still averaged around 2.9 million viewers for the night. Add in the NFL Network coverage and nearly 4 million viewers watched teams pick the future players of their favorite franchise.
SMACKDOWN, a bit over shadowed by the NBA and NFL, still managed to grab 2.3 million viewers, and secure the #7 spot of the night.
Outside of sports, Disney was the winner with it's entire primetime line up making the night's top 10 list. The network averaged 2.7 million viewers from 8 to 11 p.m.
