Primetime Cable Ratings: May 18, 2014
After a week done in the ratings, GAME OF THRONES rose back up to another record breaking audience. The hit HBO series collected 7.2 million viewers and a 3.9 rating in Adults 18-49, breaking a two week old record. The episode was the best rated program of the night, when combining cable and broadcast TV. It even bested the BILLBOARD AWARDS, on ABC.
Binge watching appeared to be big Sunday night. Both LAW AND ORDER: SVU and PAWN STAR repeats put multiple episodes in the top 10. in fact, just three shows made the list.
Just outside of the top 10, MAD MEN drew under 2 million viewers. Cult hit comedy SILICON VALLEY drew just 1.6 million viewers. And, award winning comedy VEEP barely drew over one million viewers.
