Primetime Cable Ratings: April 29, 2014

Tuesday night's Warriors at Clippers NBA Playoff game was not only the top cable program of the night, but is the best numbers for this year's round one games. Drawing 4.7 million viewers, the viewership was, more than likely, a mixture of NBA fans and on lookers. The on lookers were tuning in to see how the LA Clippers players would respond to their first home game since the Donald Sterling incident broke, late last week. The clippers won the game 113-103 and lead the 7 game series, 3-2.

The early NBA game also drew 4.0 million viewers , grabbing the #2 spot for TNT. With six series still playing first round games, the numbers should push upward as series clinching games approach.

DEADLIEST CATCH was the top rated regular cable series for Tuesday night, grabbing over 3.1 million viewers and a 1.3 rating in Adults 18-49. Between the three episode block, on Discovery, DEADLIEST CATCH averaged 2.3 million viewers and a 0.9 demo rating.
