12 MONKEYS Becoming a TV Series:
SyFy is creating a new TV series, based on a 20 year old movie, 12 MONKEYS. The 1995 movie starred Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt, about time travel and a deadly plague that will kill a large segment of the world's population. SyFy has ordered 12 episodes of the new series, which will premiere early next year.




FXX Picks Up One Series, Renews Another for 2:
FXX has renewed the comedy IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA for two more seasons and picked up the Tracy Morgan comedy.



Crackle Inks Deal With NBCUniversal:
Streaming service Crackle, has signed an exclusive deal for NBCU Movies. Most of the titles are from the back catalog of the studio, like MIMI VICE, and JARHEAD.



With Letterman Leaving, LA Wants LATE SHOW:
LA Mayor Eric Garcetti is urging CBS to move the show to Los Angeles when the show is relaunched with a new host. LA is looking to fill the void left when Jimmy Falon moved THE TONIGHT SHOW back to New York, earlier this year.
