CBS made it official by naming Stephen Colbert as the host of THE LATE SHOW, once David Letterman retires in 2015. Colbert was signed to a five year contract. [LINK]
THE LIBRARIANS Coming to TNT:
TNT has given the green light to the action series THE LIBRARIANS, starring Rebecca Romijn, Noah Wyle will executive-produce and play a recurring role in the series, reprising his role as Flynn Carsen from TNT's movie trilogy. The series will premiere in late 2014, with 10 initial episodes.
CNN Brings Mike Row/New Series to the Network:
Mike Rowe has a new series and it is coming to CNN. SOMEBODY'S GOTTA DO IT, will bring viewers face-to-face with men and women who march to the beat of a different drum. In each episode, Rowe visits unique individuals and joins them in their respective undertakings, paying tribute to innovators, do-gooders, entrepreneurs, collectors, fanatics--people who simply have to do it.
YAHOO Shopping Comedy Series:
The online content and search provider is adding four original comedy series to its offerings and shopping them to potential advertisers. Each series will debut later this year, with ten episodes each.
