Primetime Cable Ratings: April 8, 2014

On Tuesday night, it was the women's turn to hold their NCAA Basketball Championship Game. And, like the men's game, UCONN was crowned champion.

ESPN covered the championship game and it was the most watched program on cable TV, bringing in just under 4.3 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in Adults 18-49. Although that is much lower than what the men's championship game got on CBS, a day earlier, it is better than most of the first and second round action of the Men's Tournament. Women's sports have come a long way in the past 20-25 years.

JUSTIFIED closed out it's 5th season, on FX, placing 8th on the night. The finale collected 2.4 million viewers. Just one season, or 13 episodes, left of this great series. Let's hope it is as great, or better, than the first five.
