Preliminary Ratings: Wednesday 04/09/14

CBS takes the night in both major reported categories, posting 9.5 million viewers and a 2.1 rating in Adults 18-49. All three of the networks programs drew over nine million viewers, and won their respective time slots, in both viewers and young adults. But, it is a little sad to see that not a single program on the night could draw over 10 million viewers or a 3.0 demo rating.

The CW had some positive ratings news as the new series THE 100 was able to build on it's lead in, a repeat of ARROW, at 9 p.m. This is something rare for a freshman CW series and it may have solidified THE 100's second season renewal, come May upfronts.

You know it is getting bad when LAW & ORDER: SVU can tie AMERICAN IDOL in the 18-49 ratings. FOX should cancel the once hot singing competition series, but things are really bad for the network, so we may be seeing yet another season of IDOL, come January 2015.
