Preliminary Ratings: Saturday 04/19/14
It was the ABC tradition of airing the classic movie THE TEN COMMANDMENTS that won the night, on Saturday. The three hour movie drew 5.9 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in Adults 18-49. That is more viewers than last years airing, on March 31st, but the A18-49 numbers are down from the 1.2 rating in 2013. Personally, I would like to see the movie back on Sunday night, where more viewers are at home, to close out the holiday.
FOX gave us a UFC bout that did decent, for the night, in the demo ratings, but just two million total viewers bothered to tune in. The sport is still far from being main stream, let alone challenge WWE in the ratings.
