Preliminary Ratings: Monday 04/28/14

THE FOLLOWING was Monday Night's lone season finale and the ratings remained roughly the same as it has been generating, the last half of this season. Just 4.8 million viewers tuned into the dark drama's season ender. The series is already renewed for next season, but with this small turnout, season three may be THE FOLLOWING's last.

DANCING WITH THE STARS had a very nice surge in the ratings. Compared to last week's ratings DWTS is up one million viewers and 9% in the A18-49 ratings. This is the best showing for the series since the season premiere, in Mid-March.

NBC was the #1 network in the demo ratings, with it's one-two punch of THE VOICE and THE BLACKLIST.

CBS Monday night is limping towards the finish line. It is not often CBS comes third, a distant third, in both viewership and demographic ratings. A major shake up is needed for the night.
