Complete Nielsen Ratings: April 7 - 13, 2014
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #100:
CBS has pretty much owned broadcast TV since the end of the Olympics, with it's 4th strait weekly win. The network took the top 4 spots of this week's chart and a total of 18 spots in the top 30. The top show of the week was the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship game, which hauled in 21.2 million viewers and a 7.2 demo rating.
For NBC, ABC and FOX, it was more of the same. Each of the three network's competition series made the top 30. NBC added two dramas (LAW & ORDER: SVU and CHICAGO FIRE) to it's top 30 shows. ABC pushed another five in to the top portion. FOX, again, only had the two night of AMERICAN IDOL in the top 30.
The CW had a poor ratings week, with 55% of it's schedule in repeats. It and ION mostly tied in each of the measured categories.
A quick look at the season-to-date number still has NBC. leading the way in the A18-49 ratings, with 2.9 mark. NBC's coverage of the Olympics was the difference maker for the network to win the season's demo ratings crown.
FOX is still in 2nd place, with a 2.6 rating, but CBS is just behind with a 2.4 rating and with the two networks moving in opposite directions, CBS could overtake FOX for 2nd place. ABC is a solid 4th place, with a 2.1 demo rating.
In total viewers, CBS is still on top with close to 11 million viewers. NBC a solid 2nd place, about one million behind CBS. ABC and FOX are battling for third place, with less than 200,000 viewers separating them from each other.
