2014 Thursday Night Football on CBS

The NFL has released it's 2014 schedule and we are passing the national primetime games on to you. Next is the CBS/NFL simulcast games, on Thursday nights. The Simulcast is for weeks 2 through 8 only.

This will be the first season CBS will simulcast Thursday night games. Their half of the season are for September and October only. One interesting thing about these six match ups is that they are all intra-division games. There had much speculation that these games would feature prime matchups to inflate the ratings.

The seven games have two dogs and two big games. The two dogs are Bucs at Falcons, in week #3. Both were bad teams in 2013. The other dog is Colts at Texans. Texans imploded last season and should not give a good performance.

The two great games are Giants at Redskins, in week #4. These two teams always put on a good show. And, closing out the CBS portion of the schedule, Chargers at Broncos. Any game with Peyton will draw good ratings.
