The New $49 Roku Streaming Stick:Roku has updated it's HDMI streaming stick and it now sells for just $49. The stick will come with the familiar Roku remote, but can also use your smartphone device to control the device. The Roku device will launch in April.
Gordon Ramsey Series Gets a Third Season:
Before the filming and airing of a second season of MASTERCHEF JUNIOR, FOX has given the competition series a third season order. Best guess is that seasons two and three will be filmed back-to-back, much like how HELL'S KITCHEN has done.
Lohan to Guest Star on 2 BROKE GIRLS:
Troubled Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan will be a guest star on the April 14th episode of 2 BROKE GIRLS. I think Lohan misunderstood the meaning of "BROKE" in the sitcom's title.
ARCHER Gets a Two Season Renewal:
FX has give the animated series ARCHER rnewals for it's 6th and 7th seasons, at 13 episodes each. At the end of the 7th season, the series will have enough episodes (88) to go into syndication.
TBS Comedy Gets Renewal:
The TBS sitcom GROUND FLOOR, was renewed for a 10 episode, second season. The comedy is slated to kick of the sophomore season in late 2014.
E! Orders Scripted Series:
The scripted drama THE ROYALS, starring Elizabeth Hurley. The series will depict a British Royal family, in modern day England. THE ROYALS will premiere in 2015.
TLC to Feature KING OF QUEENS Star in New Series:
The former sitcom star, Leah Remini, will star in a new reality series on TLC. The series will not only feature the actress, but also her family. Do we really need another star based reality series??
DATELINE Mysteries on Saturdays:
NBC is adding a third installment of DATELINE, which will air for two hours on Saturday nights. The newsmagazine will feature stories that have suspenseful twists and turns. The series begins this Saturday, at 8 p.m.
MTV Movie Awards to be Hosted by Talk Show Host:
TBS' Conan O'Brien will be the host of the 2014 MTV Movie Awards, which air on April 13th, from LA.
