Ratings: Broadcast Finals for February 28, 2014

Season two of the critically acclaimed drama HANNIBAL premieres on NBC and it the appetite for the viewers did not agree with the offering. Just 3.3 million viewers tuned into see the latest Hannibal Lecter had in store. Compared to the last original episode of DRACULA, the former time slot occupant, the numbers are up just slightly, from a 1.0 to a 1.1 in the demo and even in total viewers. I can't see HANNIBAL going beyond this season with ratings this low, again.

ABC was the top network of the night, with a strong showing in the A18-49 ratings as both SHARK TANK (2.1) and 20/20 (1.8) posted one of their best numbers in the category, for the year. ABC has quietly taken the night away from CBS and if they could find the right combination at 8 p.m., they could dominate the night.

FOX was an after thought with viewers, with a repeat of BONES and lackluster ratings for the two comedies. KITCHEN NIGHTMARES was originally scheduled to have it's season premiere on the night, but FOX has pushed that back to an undetermined date and time.

NBC - 4.9 million viewers, 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49
