Primetime Cable Ratings: March 20, 2014
The NCAA Tournament got underway Thursday night, with TNT, TBS and TruTV airing games throughout the day. TBS and TNT pushed four of those games into the top ten. TNT had the top cable game, placing 4th, with 3.15 million viewers. That is not too far off what CBS drew for it's early game in primetime.
Looking at those early games of the NCAA tournament, the four networks (CBS, TBS, TNT and TruTV) had a combined audience of 11.4 million viewers and a 4.0 rating in Adults 18-49. This is roughly the audience CBS would attract when it had the package all to it's self.
