Primetime Cable Ratings: February 27, 2014

History dominated the night with four of it's five program making Thursday's cable top ten chart, with the second season premiere of the scripted drama VIKINGS taking the #3 spots for the night.

VIKINGS drew 3.6 million viewers and a solid 1.3 rating in Adults 18-49, holding onto all of the A18-49 viewers PAWN STARS delivered. The premiere is almost exactly the same as last year's season one finale. It is good to see scripted series do well on cable networks that are more known for their reality and documentary series.

PAWNS STARS was the top two shows of the night, with the 9 p.m. hour averaging 4.6 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49. If you look at the full lineup of History on the night, they drew an average of 3.5 million viewers and a 1.0 rating in Adults 18-49. That is very much like the averages for NBC, on the same night.
