The premiere of DATELINE SATURDAY NIGHT MYSTERY helped NBC top the low rated night. The new edition of the news magazine drew 4 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49. It won all two hours it aired.
CBS' 40 HOURS was still the most watched show of the night, but the veteran news magazine did come in third, behind both NBC programs.
FOX and ABC were not a factor on Saturday night as between the two networks, they barely averaged 3 million viewers, combined.
