FOX Makes Multiple Schedule Changes, RAKE to Fridays

FOX had a busy Monday reworking its end of work week schedule, hopefully for the better.

The first move is that RAKE is off to Friday nights, taking over the 8 p.m. slot, starting March 14th. The Thursday 9 p.m. slot opening will be covered by AMERICAN IDOL, starting a night earlier, on March 13th.

With IDOL moving back an hour, FOX is calling in Gordon Ramsey to fill the hour, but it will not be KITCHEN NIGHTMARES. Instead, HELL'S KITCHEN will be called to duty early and will occupy the Thursday, 8 p.m. time slot.

Starting March 27th, AMERICAN IDOL will scale down to just 30 minutes and the new comedy SURVIVING JACK will follow at 9:30 p.m.

FOX is in trouble and it is doing nothing more than rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
