Complete Nielsen Ratings: March 3 - 9, 2014
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #101:
it was a tight race for the weekly win, between CBS and NBC. The two network tied in the A18-49 ratings (1.8), but CBS easily win in total viewers (9.3m), Households (5.9/10) and Adults 25-54 (2.6). NBC and ABC tied in the A18-34 ratings with a 1.3 rating.
CBS placed 20 shows in this week's top 30. Only six programs failed to chart within the top 30, four of which aired on Friday or Saturday night. The network gets to boast about having the two most watched programs of the week, THE BIG BANG THEORY (18.1m) and NCIS (17.9m). It was a good week for the Eye Network.
NBC was lead by THE VOICE and THE BLACKLIST as the two series took the #3, #4 and #10 spots, respectively. After that, it was the new comedy ABOUT A BOY, in the #30 position. It's entire Thursday night line up took four of the five spots for least watched NBC series. the SNL encore, on Saturday night, at 10 p.m., beat all four scripted series.
ABC's week was mixed. RESURRECTION had a very nice series premiere, on Sunday, drawing 13.9 million viewers and placing 6th on the week. After that, just three other series make up the networks top 30 programs. It could have been a really ugly week had RESURRECTION not been such a hot show.
FOX is looking really bad. AMERICAN IDOL was the networks only top 30 programs, taking the #13 and #17 spots. Neither episode could produce a demo rating above a 3.0. The next highest rated program for FOX was COSMOS at #46.
The CW had a week just like the week before. The network looks to be on the right track, but it will take time and patients with the new direction.
